St. Louis held its regional road trip to the capitol of Illinois, Springfield, located on historic Route 66. The annual May event was expanded this year into a twoday itinerary that was packed with interesting and fun events in a variety of venues.

As we all look forward to celebrating Pride month this June, we in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas had one more battle to fight before we could pause to celebrate all the gains we’ve made over the past year for gay rights and equality.

The Miami Gay Pride Parade took place on Sunday, April 15, and the Grand Marshall was Chaz Bono. Once again we were well represented in the Legacy Couples section of the parade.
