How many of us want our cake and eat it too? In talking about travel we said to each other “Where do you want to go?” That question brought up many answers. We combined that with requests from the beautiful men who travel with us and that’s the inspiration for this trip. One wanted to go to Amsterdam. Another wanted a river cruise. Another wanted to go to Oktoberfest. We asked if it’s possible to put all three together and get a bigger bang than one trip by itself.

Did you know that the Prime Timers Worldwide website offers an online store for purchasing merchandise emblazoned with the PTWW logo? These make wonderful gifts for yourself, awards to chapter members, and can promote the organization during your events. Here is a small sample of the items can be purchased a very reasonable cost:

President's Day Weekend, Feb. 15-18, 2013.  It is great to see all your friends from around North America gather at the annual Labor Day Weekend. But in the middle of winter, when it might be sunny and 70° and it might be 20° and snowy, whatchagonnado? How about a party?  Central Oklahoma Prime Timers invite you to their second Mid-Winter Rendezvous over Presidents’ Day Weekend in February (Feb. 15-18, 2013). We are inviting all our Labor Day friends and members of Prime Timers to join us.

Most people have heard of this fund, but really do not know what it is for, where does the money come from and how it is spent.  The following is from an article by Pat Karr, who is a former President. The complete article can be found on the website.  “In August of 2007 two past presidents of our Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter came upon the idea of honoring our founder, Woody Baldwin, by raising funds for his favorite charity. When checking with Woody they confirmed that at the top of his list was Prime Timers and the continued development and support of its chapters.”
