NEWS

This area contains all of the news articles from the Prime Timers Worldwide quarterly newsletter.  They are listed in chronological order, with the most recent news article listed first.  Feel free to peruse this article archive; it is chock full of interesting stories from local chapters, the worldwide organization as a whole, and important news to its members.

The biennial Worldwide Convention for Prime Timers will be held October 2 to 6 in beautiful downtown Columbus, Ohio. A number of our Chapter members will be attending. Although this Convention is more than ten months off, we encourage you to register as soon as possible for the best rooms and registration rates. A special Early Bird "Full Conference Registration" rate of $175 is good until February 28. This registration includes all on-site scheduled activities - workshops and meetings, two cocktail hours, two dinners, entertainment, hospitality suite, shuttle buses and more. Daily registration rates and four optional excursions to local attractions are also available to attendees.

The Travel Guys (Michael and Robert) are currently on the Fall Repositioning Cruise and took a break from their every issue travel article. So, I thought I’d come up with a few travel suggestions that you might be interested in. Some are inexpensive, and others can get pricey. So here they are.

Boston Prime Timers met with members of the Rhode Island and Connecticut chapters, along with a few visitors from New York, Washington DC and Cross Timbers, Texas chapters to celebrate Halloween. Provincetown didn’t disappoint as it rarely, if ever, does. Participants celebrated the changing of the seasons with a fun filled event that was packed with good times and an opportunity to meet other members from beyond their local surroundings.
