Vancouver, Canada

Another of our favorite cities. The chapter took hiatus from monthly general meetings until September. Then the members, guests, and speakers returned to the West End Community Centre on Denman Street. But all the regular monthly activities continued: memberships, birthdays, bicycling, coffees, lunches, potlucks, Bridge, Book Club, Video Nights, theatre parties, Pride, day trips, island excursions; all will still be taking place. This is a busy-busy, something-for-everyone chapter.

Omaha Nebrasaka

This is a newer chapter. The Metro Omaha guys hosted their summer picnic out at Chalco Hills Recreation Area. They reserved a pavilion in the park, so if it either rains or shines (hot!), all will be covered. A lot of the Des Moines guys headed over and joined 'em for the afternoon. Always good when two chapters can socialize.

Toronto, Ontario

Here is an excellent idea for a general meeting – not a speaker, but two musical entertainers. One of them is an award winning male classical pianist. The other, a female, is a known recording artist. The two put on the program. This type of a "concert" will certainly be enjoyed by the guys. I would have...a lot!

Des Moines / Central Iowa

91 members. Every other Monday, a group of them heads out to the baseball park for breakfast. There is a doggone good restaurant there that serves excellent food...and a lot of it. So, 9:00 a.m. out at the Cub Club Restaurant at Principal Park. Enjoy the guys, the view, and the economically priced food.
