A lot of good photos in their newsletter of Gay Pride and their float and a bunch of the guys riding on the trailer. One poor guy had to walk the distance. The guys constructed the float together just in-time for all to climb on board (except one) for the parade. Another full schedule of events for this chapter.

So good to get their newsletter again. Gary still writes tongue-in-cheek comments that make me laugh. The City is such a good getaway, so check their website for an activity if you'll be heading their direction. Give 'em a visit, at least a call. At their barbecue, the two Anthonys did cartwheels across the lawn and Mel & Judy sang arias from "Carmen". A social not to be missed!

Central Florida / Orlando

This is a chapter that certainly has an active face in the community. If you will be in the Orlando area, bowling is every Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Colonial Lanes on Primrose Lane. Every Thursday, they take-in a Senior Social at The Center, noon to 3 p.m., and it's on North Mills. Several take part in the Senior Chat every other Friday, also at The Center. The Centers in the various cities do run some very needed programs – Orlando benefitting from some examples.

We thank the chapter for recognizing all the efforts that LGBT Centers do in our various cities. The Centers could not function if it were not for the many volunteers through the week. Their chapter President, Ray Plummer, mentions the many ways they rely on their Center. Good message.
