President Henry Penas giving Robert Boo a check for $3000 in Woody"s memory President Henry Penas giving Robert Boo a check for $3000 in Woody"s memory Kaz Takahashi

The Board of Directors of the Fort Lauderdale Prime Timers voted to use $3000 of Woody Baldwin's bequest to make a contribution to the Pride Center at Equality Park. The Pride Center is literally at the center of gay life in Fort Lauderdale and it is where we hold our meetings. The money was used to buy a much needed LCD state-of-the-art ceiling projector for their main meeting room. CEO of the Pride Center, Robert Boo was at our meeting to accept our check and demonstrated the new projector. They will hang a plaque in a prominent place in that room in memory of Woody's role in starting Prime Timers and our chapter's connection to him.  The picture shows President Henry Penas handing a ceremonial check to Robert Boo, CEO of the Pride Center.
