Kage

By Maris Black
2015 - 306 pages

I listened to the audio version of this book and it was great!

Jamie Atwood, a 20-year-old college senior, is pretty content with his life and his girlfriend, but then she breaks up with him. He meets a professional fighter named Michael Kage who brings out feelings in Jamie that he would rather deny than accept.

Jamie ends up working for Kage and slowly he wades through the many layers of the fighters personality to discover a passionate, caring man who is somewhat damaged underneath it all.

The chemistry between these two is fantastic in this book. I wanted to read it straight through but didn't want it to end, so forced myself to take it slower.

Once you add to that the narration of J.F. Harding and the sexy voices he uses it really pushes you over the edge! Harding is fantastic; you forget he is narrating a book as you are drawn into the characters which he brings to life with his excellent talent.

This is definitely five stars, the only downside being the ending which is a cliffhanger. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes M2M romance novels. I'll definitely be getting the other two books in the trilogy!
