Prime Timers St. Louis Board Member, Will Roth, was selected as one of two 2013 St. Louis Icon Award honorees by the Vital Voice Magazine. The 65 year-old Will, who retired in 2006, was chosen for the honor because of his decades of service to the Gay community and involvement with a half-dozen LGBT organizations. In addition to his Prime Timers position, Will serves on the Missouri State Governor's Council of PROMO and is a member of the Federal Club and Dinner Committee for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Prime Timers St. Louis congratulates Will on this well-deserved honor.

Prime Timer St. Louis member, Leon Braxton recently received Grinder's "Best Of 2012 Award" for "Fiercest Drag Queen/Nightlife Personality" and "Local Hero/Community Advocate of the Year" for the St. Louis area.

In addition to his job as Business Manager and Writer for "The Vital Voice", Leon is also Executive Director of The LGBT Center of St. Louis and frequently appears in drag at charity events as "Dieta Pepsi".

St. Louis was one of ten cities selected to be surveyed by Grindr, the leading geo-social network for gay men with more than 4.5 million users in 192 countries. Prime Timers St. Louis proudly congratulates Leon on his accomplishments as a vital asset to the success of our LGBT community.
